PATTERN NOTES
- Repeat instructions between the asterisks.
Working in the round, join with a slip stitch at the end of each round.
Ch spaces do not count as stitches.
The altch2 is the first dc in the round.
The chain 1 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.
INSTRUCTIONS
COLOR A
Round 1: fsc 89 (or any multiple of 10 + 9), join as per video. (90 sts)
Optional Round 1: ch 90 (or any multiple of 10), being careful not to twist the chain join with a slst, ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.
Round 2: ch 1, sc in the first 3 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in the next 2 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in the next 6 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in the next 2 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st around until 3 sts remain, sc in the last 3 sts. Join.
COLOR B
Round 3: altch2, dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next ch sp, dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next ch sp, dc in the next 6 sts, dc in the next ch sp, dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next ch sp around until 3 sts remain, dc in the last 3 sts. Join.
COLOR A
Round 4: ch 1, sc in the first 3 sts, skip 1 of the skipped sts 3 rows below, tr in the next skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 2 sts (row below), tr in the skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 6 sts (row below), skip 1 of the skipped sts 3 rows below, tr in the next skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 2 sts (row below), tr in the skipped st 3 rows below around until 3 sts remain, sc in the last 3 sts. Join.
Rounds 5 & 6: ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.

COLOR A
Round 12: ch 1, sc in the first 3 sts, skip 1 of the skipped sts 3 rows below, tr in the next skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 2 sts (row below), tr in the skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 6 sts (row below), skip 1 of the skipped sts 3 rows below, tr in the next skipped st 3 rows below, sc in the next 2 sts (row below), tr in the skipped st 3 rows below around until 3 sts remain, sc in the last 3 sts. Join.
Rounds 13 & 14: ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.
Repeat Rounds 7 - 14 until desired width with color changes.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
