Popcorn: 5 dc in the indicated st, drop the loop from the hook, reinsert the hook in the first dc of the 5-dc group (from the front to back), pick up the dropped loop and pull it through the first dc.

INSTRUCTIONS
COLOR A
Round 1: fsc 79 (or any multiple of 8 + 7), join as per video. (80 sts)
Optional Round 1: ch 80 (or any multiple of 8), join without twisting the chain, ch 1, sc in the first st and each st around. (80 sts)
Round 2: altch2, dc in each st around. Join. (80 dc)
COLOR B
Round 3: ch 1, sc in the first 2 sts, Popcorn in the next st, * sc in the next 9 sts, Popcorn in the next st * around until 7 sts remain, sc in the last 7 sts. Join. (72 dc, 8 Popcorn)
COLOR A
Round 4: altch2, dc in each st around. Join. (80 dc)
COLOR B
Round 5: ch 1, sc in the first 7 sts, Popcorn in the next st, * sc in the next 9 sts, Popcorn in the next st * around until 2 sts remain, sc in the last 2 sts. Join. (72 dc, 8 Popcorn)
COLOR A
Round 6: altch2, dc in each st around. Join. (80 dc)
COLOR B
Repeat Rounds 3 - 6 until desired width, changing color every other round.
Last Round: ch 1, sc in each st around. Join.
