dc2tog over 3: YO, insert hook in st , pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), YO, pull through 2 loops, skip 1 st, YO, hook insert in next st, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), YO, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook), YO, pull through all 3 loops.
V-ST: (dc, ch 1, dc) in the same st.

INSTRUCTIONS Row 1: fsc 25 (or any multiple of 12 + 1). (25 sts) Optional Row 1: chain 26 (or any multiple of 12 + 2), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (25 sts) Row 2: (altch2, dc) in the first st, dc in the next 4 sts, dc2tog over 3, dc in the next 4 sts, V-ST in the next st, dc in the next 4 sts, dc2tog over 3, dc in the next 4 sts, 2 dc in the last st. (24 sts) Repeat Row 2 until desired length. Last Row: ch 1, sc in the first st and each st across, placing 1 sc in the ch sp. (25 sts) Fasten off and weave ends.
