Gentle Waves Stroller Blanket

MATERIALS

• Big Twist Value (100% Acrylic, 380 yards / 347 meters, 6 ounces / 170 grams) Light Rose: 3 skeins

• Optional Yarn: Any worsted weight (#4) yarn.

HOOKS & SUPPLIES

• Hook US H8 / 5.00 mm

• Scissors

• Yarn Needle

• Measuring Tape

• Stitch Marker (Optional)

GAUGE

• 13 stitches = 4”, first 9 pattern rows = 4”

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• One Size: 35” wide x 40” long

• altch2 = alternate chain 2

• dc = double crochet

• fsc = foundation single crochet

PATTERN NOTES

• * * - Repeat instructions between the asterisks.

• ( ) - Repeat instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

• Turn at the end of each row.

• Ch 1 spaces do not count as stitches.

• The altch2 is the first st in the row.

• The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st.

INSTRUCTIONS

Row 1: fsc 136

Optional Row 1: ch 137 (or any multiple of 17+1), sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. (136 sts)

Row 2: (altch2, dc) in the first st, 2 dc in each of the next 2 sts, skip 1 st, (dc in the next st, skip 1 st) 5 times, * 2 dc in each of the next 6 sts, skip 1 st, (dc in the next st, skip 1 st) 5 times * across until 3 sts remain, 2 dc in each of the last 3 sts.

Row 3: ch 1, sc in each st across.

Repeat Rows 2 & 3 until desired length.

Fasten off and weave ends.
