Have You Ever Lost Your Crojo?

I have! I think at some point it happens to everyone. Even as a designer, after a big project, I sometimes struggle to decide what I would like to do next. Do I want to make another blanket, a hat, ear warmer, or something even smaller.

Being in a crochet "rut" is just no fun at all. But sometimes it's good to take a break as well. You want crochet to stay fun, not feel forced or like a "real" job. Take time off if you need too.

So what type of project can get us motivated to crochet? Ornament, mug rug, scarf (my go-to), cup cozy, ear warmer? The options are unlimited, well limited by our imagination :)

Maybe the answer is to make a small project as a gift for someone? When I'm stuck, just don't know what to crochet next, I usually grab some left over yarn and make a hat to donate, or a quick & easy scarf or cowl. Sometimes I end up making 5 - 6 hats and a bunch of scarves & cowls to donate before I decide on my next big project or next pattern. However long it takes. Crochet shouldn't feel stressful, it should be fun and relaxing!

I reached out to some designers asking for their quick and easy projects that would help you get your crojo or love of crochet back. They gave me soooooo many ideas and links. Here are 18 different FREE patterns that are fun and quick.
