It's my day for a new pattern in the hop!
You may have noticed that I like to make blankets :) Yes, they are large projects and do take a lot of time, but they are the perfect project to crochet when we have cooler weather in the mountains. Plus..... I can donate them! (this blanket will be given to a veteran for Christmas)
Working with colors is hard for me. I'm never sure what colors work together. Even after looking at color palettes or other projects that use colors.... I just can't seem to put colors together.
The colors in this blanket were colors that I needed to use up. I had only a few skeins of each color. When I laid them side by side on my backdrop I wasn't sure they would work, but the finished blanket looks pretty good to me! lol
Bernat Premium (100% Acrylic, 360 yards / 329 meters, 7 oz / 198 g) COLOR A: Pine - 2 Skeins, COLOR B: Parchment - 3 skeins, COLOR C: Burgundy - 3 skeins, Color D: Shadow Blue - 2 skeins
This blanket has a beautiful texture. Easy repeat after the first few repeats. The pattern looks beautiful in stripes, block colors or even one solid color. Also easy to adjust the size of the blanket.
You can find the pattern link and coupon code for 50% off on the Crochet Designer Community FB page.
The coupon code will work until the end of 21rst of November.
