The coolest bridge!

When we were leaving Palacios for Bay City some of the campers told us we needed to go to Sargent to see the strange bridge. They said it went to no where, but it does actually go sort of somewhere lol. I'm sure the people living on the other side think it's "somewhere". It crosses a canal and goes to a spit of land between the canal and the Gulf of Mexico. The spit of land has 1 road with houses on both sides.
Apparently there used to be a different bridge over the canal that was a swing bridge. I guess when it needed to be replaced they decided to do this. It's an interesting drive!

That bridge is cool. I wouldn’t want to go over it even if it went somewhere. I’m not a huge fan of bridges. 🙃
