Do you ever buy yarn just to fill your online cart to get free shipping? That’s what I did with this yarn. I Needed a bit to fill the cart, saw this, liked the colors and get my free shipping! Lol
Sometimes it’s scary trying new yarns that I can’t touch in the store, but this was a pleasant surprise! It’s really nice yarn for hats. It’s soft & easy to work with, the colors are so pretty! The only drawback for me is that the color changes hide the stitch pattern. If you are making hats with little stitch definition this would be perfect. Let the colors shine :)
The label says it’s a #5 weight and you should use a 6mm hook. In my opinion it’s a #4 weight (much like Lion Brand Heartland). I used a 5.5 mm hook, but you could even use a 5 mm hook for a pretty project.
I used the yarn to make hats for donating. It makes a lovely warm beanie.
